zip (1) – nothing.   To have nothing.   Do you have any money?  I got zip. (Meaning I have no money.)
zip (2) – energy; vigor.  She has a lot of zip.  (Meaning she has a lot of energy.  Usually used to describe a person that moves very quickly.)
zip it (up)– shut up. If someone is talking and will not stop, you can tell them to “zip it.”  You can also say zip it up,” meaning the same, shut up.
