Pig Out

June 11, 2010

To eat a large meal.  If you are very hungry you can suggest eating a meal by saying “Let’s pig out” meaning let’s eat.  If you ate a very large meal you would say “Last night I pigged out.”

Not used when referring to something polite and refined.  You use this phrase when describing eating a large meal and not in a very refined way.
